GranitiFiandre celebrated 50 years of history.
Half a century of work, a long and sometimes bumpy road along which the Castellerano company, world leader in the production of high range porcelain stoneware, has travelled, always focusing its attention on the final objective: excellence.
Fifty years are a long time, a beginning that is lost in a now cloudy past, but which holds strong in the company's DNA and disposition, in its manual and clerical workers, in its laboratory employees, in its many agents and promoters active in Italy and throughout the world, and also in the management that has led the company through these five decades towards positive and propositional growth.
From the past, the first steps taken following an entrepreneurial push that bravely believed in a new vision of the developing industry, remains the desire to do, create and constantly put forward new ideas.
From the passing of time, history and experience, Fiandre has succeeded in creating a reliable and prestigious profile among its customers, which is confirmed today by the presence of over 400 guests from all over the world.
Fifty years of research and creativity have led Fiandre to travel along a path that has passed through technological and stylistic innovation, in order to successfully reach its goal of sustainable innovation.
To underline the exceptionality of this celebration, today during the traditional spring “Porte Aperte” event, as well as the presentation of the new products, guests were able to follow in an interesting round table called “Dialogues between fantasy and reality: creativity draws wellbeing”, an opportunity for exchanges of ideas between significant representatives of the architecture and design industry. Along with the Chairman Graziano Verdi, the manager of AD Ettore Mocchetti, the architect Luca Drago and the designer Matteo Nunziati all spoke, explaining the concept of wellbeing in their fields of interest, combined with the current requirements of architecture and design, constantly more focused on ecology and environmental sustainability.
“We aspired for the best – said the Chairman and Managing Director Graziano Verdi – and our history shows that determination to achieve pays off. We believed in the value of innovation and we understood the quality of a material that was still a gamble, porcelain stoneware, which turned out to become the breakthrough that opened up opportunities in markets and applications yet to be explored.
Our strength lies in the fact that we have always welcomed the challenges thrown at us by the market, competitors and the rules of the changing world, and thanks to an excellent team so far we have successfully overcome them”.
