FIANDRE PRIZE-WINNER AT CHINA AWARDS 2009

The fourth edition of the China Awards, organized by the Italy China Foundation and Milan Finanza, has awarded Fiandre among the winners for 2009.
The Jury, with Cesare Romiti (President of the Italy China Foundation) and Paolo Panerai (vice President and managing director of Class Editori) as chairmen, and composed by representatives of prestigious industrial and financial institutions, has awarded the Castellarano based company the prize "Expo Shanghai 2010"
Six prizes have been awarded to successful companies, that have played an important role in the internationalization and strengthening of the Italy-China business relationship.

Fiandre, present since many years in Shanghai with a Geologica shop, will supply the floor for the Italian pavilion at the Shanghai 2010 Universal Expo, called "Better city, Better life", representing not only its own brand but the entire ceramic branch and more generally the Made in Italy excellence.

The company is very close to the themes that will be dealt during the Expo: the environmental friendly urban development is an objective the company believes in, investing in the materials' research. Research that has led to the birth of Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™: an innovative production methodology allowing to create materials of concrete antibacterial and antipollution qualities with "self cleaning" properties when used on exterior facades, contributing in an active and durable way to improve life quality.
