On Tuesday, December 15 a round table was held on the topic "Italy: Emilia Romagna, the made in Italy network" in the sixteenth-century hall in Bologna’s Palazzo Magnani. The meeting was organised by Il Corriere della Sera to mark the conclusion of a series of special inserts on excellence in Emilia Romagna published with the newspaper in the days prior to the event.

Fiandre Chairman and Managing Director Graziano Verdi and other key figures from the world of enterprise in Emilia attended the round table, which was moderated by the editor-in-chief of Il Corriere, Ferruccio De Bortoli.
He introduced the evening as an "opportunity to take a snapshot of excellence in Italian industry and offer positive signs for growth".

Along with Vasco Errani (President of the Region), Fabio Roversi Monaco (Chairman of the Carisbo Foundation), Pierluigi Stefanini (UGF Chairman), Andrea Babbi (APT Servizi Emilia Romagna Manging Director), Marco Palmieri (Piquadro Chairman) and Giovanna Furlanetto (Furla Chairman), Graziano Verdi, invited to represent the ceramics district, referred to the positive link between our company and the university in the context of the research leading to the creation of the innovative Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ production method.
The link between research, university and enterprise is a response to the need for unity and teamwork which was also identified by the other participants in the event. The experience that the companies present at the event represent at the highest level is the value we need to draw on to come through the crisis.

In a district that has already managed to reinvent itself over and over again in the course of its history, "Fiandre now offers an example of innovation, an innovation that is not limited to the product but starts with study and research", says Graziano Verdi. "A company with a will to do things, as demonstrated over the course of this difficult year, setting a virtuous example with its know-how".
