The annual Domotex trade fair was held in Hannover (Germany) January 14 through 16: an essential event focusing on everything to do with floors, including a special prize presented by the prestigious architecture magazine AIT, in which a panel of judges including world-famous architects and designers selects materials and companies that stand out for their particularly innovative tiles and flooring.
Once again the Innovationspreis Architektur und Boden 2010 acknowledged Fiandre's leadership of the market: the judges selected Black 100, from the Serie 100 collection, for its innovative aesthetic features and production method. 75x75 cm slabs with an etched metal effect are produced out of 100% recycled raw materials from the ceramics industry, so that production wastes become essential elements in the creation of a new material with zero environmental impact and a high profile design.
A new large size for consciously environmentally sustainable architecture; a new material combining aesthetic value and respect for the environment and maintaining all the qualitative characteristics that have made Fiandre a world leader in the production of technical porcelain tile.
