The Surface Design Show, the famous London show for high design internal and external flooring solutions, focuses during its annual edition on sustainability and resources efficiency: Fiandre has decided to renew its usual presence by repeating on the British market its commitment for a better world.
Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ will play a leading role: an expositive area truly dedicated to the new production methodology in the Calacatta Gold, a new material inspired by the ethereal quarry marble highlighted by the slabs new large sizes (150x75 cm and 75x75 cm).
Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ is the first high technical porcelain slab produced using an application of micrometric titanium dioxide powders: the light rays activate its photocatalysis properties and allow a 70% reduction of all organic and inorganic pollutants. Its action, certified by TCNA (Tile Council of North America) and Centro Ceramico Bologna, has an unlimited length and does not cause any loss of colors.
A further confirmation of Fiandre green attitude is represented by Serie 100, a new range in 4 different colors in 75x75 cm with a scratched metal effect, produced by re-using 100% of raw materials recycled by ceramic production loop. The waste materials became in this way crucial elements in a new range with 0 environmental impact by keeping at the same time a high design look.
