ITALIAN COVERING FORUM AT SHANGHAI TONGJI UNIVERSITY

Fiandre is playing a leading role at Shanghai Expo 2010, in arranging all kind of events and happenings: on August 30th and in cooperation with Innovacer and Emilia-Romagna, the first Italian Covering Forum will be held at Shanghai Tongji University.

Actually China is representing a strategic country, offering significant development opportunities for the Italian tile district: in 2009 China reached several economic primacies, becoming the second worlwide economical power.
Shanghai Expo 2010 is showing all the production excellences of more than 150 countries and Sasol ceramic district is definitely one of "Made in Italy" and "Italian style" excellence: with more than 2 and half million registered visitors till today and the Italian Pavillon with more than 40.000 visits per day, Shanghai is representing one of the best chance for getting known and capturing a market full of opportunities.
Thank to the leading theme, "Better city, better life", the building business together with the urban and living background are playing a leading role, focusing on low environmental impact and best architectural and design look: Fiandre has been able to differ even this time, catching all the coming challenges and setting itself as the protagonist of this event, in partnership with the Italian Government.
Together with Architect Giampaolo Imbrighi, who planned the Italian Pavillon, has been chosen a high quality porcelain tile matching perfectly the ecologic and environmental issues: the New Ground Anthracite has been one of the first material from Fiandre officially certified as LEED, i.e. manufactured with at least 40% of recycled materials.
Innovacer ask Fiandre to report about its strategy in China: once again selected among its competitors as virtuous example of power and initiative even in such market, too far for many others.
