RECORD FIGURES FOR FIANDRE IN AUGUST
In spite Agost is a traditional holidays time, Fiandre does not stop and has set in the first half of the month a turnover record, by the shipment of two of the most prestigious European airports, Lisbon and Budapest.
Lisbon – Portela, in cooperation with Edifer General contractor and with Fernando Goncalves Architect, choose a ventilated façade designed by Granitech by using Fiandre White Ground 60x60 cm slabs and floor tiles Asiago 60x60cm matt for a total amount of app. 25.000 smq by reaching ca. 1.500.000,00 €.
Budapest – Ferihegy, the International hub of the Hungarian airport which registered only in 2009 app. 10 milion passengers traffic, went for the green line: Kesz Epito, the General Contractor followed Zoltan Timo's decisions, the responsible Architect, who ordered to GranitiFiandre two customized items, GranitoLight and GranitoGreen, in 60x60 cm, meeting precise sustainable requirements.
The two materials are classified as "green tiles", thanks to their 40% recycle content, as established by the American LEED standards.
The purchaser intends to highlight the project eco-sustainable mood by the use in the restrooms of the GranitoLight in 40x20 cm with the additional value of the Active finish: Budapest has become the first eco-active airport!
