ARCHITECT@WORK: ROTTERDAM
15th-16th September
Architect@work has become a regular date on the Dutch trade fair calendar, and will be held for the third time this year.
Architect@work had almost 5000 registered visitors in 2009, offering a unique opportunity for designers, architects and interior designers to get together. The event showcases a long list of the most advanced architectural solutions and some of the most important names on the Dutch design scene.
Fiandre, a world leader in the production of top of the range porcelain stoneware tiles, would never miss the opportunity to be present at such an event! In collaboration with its local partner Tegelgroep, Fiandre is continuing its campaign promoting Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ almost a year after the revolutionary product was officially launched.
Active, an innovative productive process perfected after years of laborious and intense research in the company's laboratories in Castellarano, has been the unrivalled star in a number of activities and events in which Fiandre has participated over the past year.
The Group's CEO and Managing Director Graziano Verdi has repeatedly called Active a milestone not only for the company but for the entire ceramics industry, helping make architecture more sustainable: for the first time, ceramic, a naturally inert material, has been transformed into a virtuously active material.
Titanium dioxide in combination with sunlight or artificial light allows Active tiles to perform a concrete anti-pollutant, antibacterial action, helping to significantly improve the quality of the air we breathe and the environment around us.
Active, Fiandre and Tegelgroep are looking forward to seeing you at Architect@work: stand 55 between 1 PM and 8 PM September 15 and 16.
