LEIPZIG EXPO 2006

The Baufach Expo was held from February 1st to 4th at Leipzig, hosting approximately 30 international exhibitors including GranitiFiandre, which was voted as having the best, most innovative stand at the event. The stand, which covered a floor area of over 50 m², was tiled with the six materials from the patented collection GeoDiamond and included a series of wall panels, introducing to the German market the recently launched New Ground collection - materials created to give living spaces a touch of unique beauty and personality - and the specially designed GeoDesign collection for luxury interiors. During the event, the GranitiFiandre stand was visited by numerous important architects, designers and professionals from the ceramics world, who expressed their approval of the company's all-encompassing policy for ongoing development. The stand also hosted illustrious guests, such as Dr. Albrecht Buttolo (Minister for the Interior of Saxony), Dr. Jürgen Namyslo, Ralph Rau and Dr. Eng. Volker Benedix (chairman of the Saxony chamber of architects). Leipzig’s most important newspaper, the Leipziger Volkszeitung, dedicated an entire paragraph to the ceramics sector, three quarters of which about GranitiFiandre. Links Baufach
