Ecobath, the eco-sustainable experience of Xtra-Fiandre at FuoriSalone 2011
At the FuoriSalone 2011, in the very lively Tortona area, HOME & SPA DESIGN, offers a 2,500 m2 area, with selected installations dedicated to home, bathroom and wellbeing.
Xtra Fiandre will attend with Ecobath, a fresh image of the bathroom furnishing scene that combines a state-of-the-art design with a theme dear to modern living and architecture - environmental sustainability. The main feature of the environments created by the designer is, in fact, eco_marble, a new collection that comprises over 40% recycled materials (LEED certified) and that is also made with the innovative production process Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™.

Dialogues about sustainability and Italian contemporary architecture
On April 13th Mario Cucinella will be the special guest at Milan Politecnico: the ideal place for university research and development supporting the industrial system.
The workshop takes place at Aula F.lli Castiglioni (bldg.9PK, 3rd Floor) inside Bovisa Campus.

Architectural aperitif
At the renovated show-room in Via Francesco Sforza, GranitiFiandre and Illum choose the Milanese design week to introduce 2 leading architects of the nowadays project world: Marco Visconti and Stefano Pirovano, designer for Bysteel.
On the occasion, the Lodi Tower project by Marco Visconti will be shown, generally recognized as sustainability forefront.

Mi-Sha luxury taste experience
Awaiting the next Milan Expo about "Nourish the Earth, energy for life", a new restaurant event, Mi-Sha is born, inside Sala dei Re, in Milan's hearth.
A place closely linked to taste and to the Milanese tradition, enriched with typical recipes joined to the fusion soul of the Chinese kitchen.
Fiandre has been included inside Simone Micheli's installation with Taxos Extreme Active: thanks to its anti-bacterial features, will be used as unusual dining table.
