FIANDRE MAKES ITS DEBUT AT HOSPITALAR 2011
GranitiFiandre made its debut at Hospitalar 2011 (San Paolo, Brazil)this year, unveiling its innovative Active Clean Air & Antibacterial CeramicTM before the Latin American healthcare sector.
Active materials are perfect for the healthcare sector because of their outstanding antibacterial properties, certified by international research institutes such as TCNA in the United States and CSTB of France.
ACTIVE porcelain stoneware guarantees sanitisation and elimination of bacteria and pollutants - perfect for hospitals, clinics and medical practices, all places requiring particularly strict hygiene.
These results were obtained after years of research in Fiandre’s laboratories: fission of micrometric particles of titanium dioxide (TiO2) on porcelain stoneware tiles at high temperatures allows dioxide powder to act as a photocatalyst (in the presence of an appropriate light source), triggering the anti-pollutant and anti-bacterial action.
Sustainability and the green philosophy are constants in GranitiFiandre’s work, as the company produces its materials with the smallest possible impact on the environment. Fiandre’s collections are made using more than 40% recycled resources, in accordance with the requirements for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
A concrete commitment to the environment that is becoming more and more important all over the world!
