BATIMAT: NEW APPOINTMENT FOR FIANDRE

Batimat is back: the International Building Exhibition, coming up in Paris November 7 through 12.
Batimat is the place where sustainable construction and renovation solutions first appear. With 400,000 registered visitors and more than 2000 exhibitors, the 2011 edition will focus on wide-scale promotion of all the principles and methods for obtaining energy efficient buildings, in accordance with the new regulations that will go into effect next year.
Fiandre sees this as an essential appointment, and the company’s prestigious stand will welcome visitors in Pavilion 7.2, Hall J, bringing together not only the most important new developments but also the prestigious materials through which Fiandre will introduce itself to a highly qualified public.
The exhibition space has been divided into two main areas, where Maximum tiles, in the Marmi (Michelangelo Statuario and Taxos with polished and semi-gloss finishes) and Aster (with Mercury) variants rise in all the splendour suggested by their 300x150 cm size.
The outer wall measuring more than 20 metres is covered with Essenze Rare, in the Cabreuva Dorata and Ciliegio varieties: 150x18 cm strips which give the space all the liveliness and warm atmosphere of the most elegant, refined woods.
Finally, there are two Xtra_Plan exhibition spaces made of in Class Pearl, with the glow finish, and Xpressive, a new collection conceived by Silvia Stanzani which goes back to the colouring power of enamels for ceramics and combines it with the strength and resistance of porcelain stoneware to create a high-tech surface for homes, public spaces and outdoor decoration of urban spaces.
