For the company, Cersaie 2010 was a real success story with more than 2,500 people attending during the exhibition days. Graziano Verdi, Chairman and Managing Director of the Fiandre Group, commented: "Cersaie 2010 was a fantastic event for Fiandre at which we received significant praise from all the leading distributors, and particularly the ones from Asia, confirming the value of both the innovative Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ manufacturing method and the new materials in the larger 150x75cm size".
Moreover, the TCNA (Tile Council North America) recently stated that according to standard ISO 27447, Active GranitiFiandre materials had obtained a 100% reduction in bacteria such as Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcus Aureus and Klebsiella Pneumoniae.

In the company's "Geologica - Extreme" range, the Quarziti collection - with its 5 natural stone colours - is presented as the purest form of stone.
Solid and long-lasting, modern and minimalist: these are the characteristics of this new, highly refined material, whose thickness produces a sense of depth thanks to the inclusion in the mix of carefully selected raw materials.
The GranitiFiandre Quarziti undergo subtle colour changes making each colour in the range unique, as the tones become polished by time which works on the material until it is transformed into ageless stone.
The whiteness of Blanca, the tenuous touch of Avana, the sunset shade Dehor, the velvety Ceniza and the sheer depth of the Noire are applied to a surface that is smooth to the touch, but offers an unrivalled grip.
Our cutting-edge material has aesthetic and technical characteristics that make it practical to use and to clean, thanks to the very best porcelain slabs available. Strong, elegant and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, our Quarziti slabs combine a stunning appearance with superior technical features. Varying surfaces and strong tones mean there is no need for modular installation, thanks to the visual flowing effect created by the shades of the material. The non-uniform colours of the slabs recreate the grain of natural stone, hence lighting up the material with unexpected tones.
Note that our Blanca, Ceniza, Avana and Dehor versions can be produced using the innovative Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ manufacturing process, making the Quarziti collection "green" and eco-sustainable. With ACTIVE, the ceramic takes on antibacterial and non-pollutant properties: in fact, the TCNA (Tile Council North America) and Centro Ceramico Bologna have proven that 1,000m2 of ACTIVE material is capable of producing the same reduction of nitrogen oxide levels in the air as around 20 tall trees.
With ACTIVE, the Quarziti collection became GranitiFiandre's eco-material of choice to present at Cersaie, in a space that was specifically representative of the results obtained. The GranitiFiandre stand was transformed into a "virtual square" centred by a flourishing tree: a natural meeting point between technology and the environment, economy and ecology, a space characterised by a notion of wellbeing inspired by respect for nature.

The Geologica range has been further enhanced by the vibrant accents of the DataUni line - a selection of rich colours to fill any room: from cold Ice to deep Pepper, DataUni offers a whole spectrum of brightly coloured tones.
Radiant tones of Mandarin, Cherry, Lavender, Sky, Lime and Canary, and the velvety touch of Champagne, Walnut, Choco and Cobalt.
DataUni porcelain stoneware from GranitiFiandre is supplied in a complete range of 12 colours available in 2 finishes, to bring light and colour to any space.
The classic polished finish of our tiles is refined with a soft, velvety touch, inspired by the feel of genuine marble.
