Monzani in Modena, place of the Architectural exhibition dedicated to the Recent Works of "Richard Meier"; the same Richrad Meier was present as chairman at the inauguration lecture of the exhibition, on 6th March 2004.

Two New Marble and one Tinta Unita (Solid Colour) have been added to the “Geologica – The New Stones” range, which already includes over 100 New Stones in Technical Ceramic by GranitiFiandre, thus extending the range of sizes and colours, and guaranteeing endless possibilities of combinations, from the most classic layings to most innovative designs, providing designers with a new way of interpreting material, with respect for Nature. These new materials belong to the New Marbles, New Granites and New Stones collections in the exclusive Geologica® range, becoming to all effects a New Material for floor and wall tiling able to open up new horizons in design.

The “Geotecnica - High Tech Ceramic” range, the high performance range of technical ceramics by GranitiFiandre, the high performance range, embellished by the insertion of the Dolomiti Workshop 20x20, is suitable not only for traditional installations but also in new ways with advanced technology in the frame of new architecture. GranitiFiandre materials have similar compositions and appearance of quarry marbles and granites but their technical characteristics of brightness, homogeneity, resistance and low absorption are superior; properties which make them particularly suitable for all types of architectural application.

Water, with its force and its power carves Matter at very high pressure, forging and creating the most diverse shapes. Surfaces become unique compositions, perfect and customisable, integrating seamlessly in any design project, from the most classic to the most contemporary. Absolute freedom in the choice of shapes and colours with the assurance of seeing the concrete realisation of every single idea. This is GeoDesign, the new brand by GranitiFiandre, where simplicity and geometries blend together to become protagonists.

The new GranitiFiandre slabs, whose production in contrast to quarry materials takes place with minimal impact on the environment, are exported to over 100 countries - in particular to Germany and The United States, home to 2 new production plants – and are also sold in 47 shops under the Geologica trademark in all the main cities in the world.

There is a succession of initiatives, aimed at spreading both an “Architectural Culture”, and a “Culture of New Materials in Technical Ceramics”. The splendid Geologica Megastore of Castellarano (RE), inaugurated at Cersaie 2002, has had extraordinary success this year, with a large number of visits from the most famous international designers, initiatives of collaboration between the company and the world of Design and Construction, as well as interest from specialised Italian and foreign magazines on Architecture and Interior Design.

The innovative Show-Room concept designed by the Architect Marco Casamonti, was conceived according to a precise inspirational principle: to recreate an area for gathering together all the essence and naturalness of GranitiFiandre materials, starting from raw materials and finishing with the new technical ceramic slabs. One particularly important initiative aimed at spreading the culture of Architecture and New Materials is the international architectural magazine, Materia, with 40,000 copies currently distributed worldwide and a circulation index of over 10% among architects (source Databank). N° 43, the latest edition of the magazine, is entirely dedicated to “Shops: Styles, Image, Architecture”. It can be found from march 2003 in all newsstands and the best specialised bookshops.
