FRASER SUITES
MIDDLE EAST HOSPITALITY EMBRACES THE ITALIAN DESIGN
(Doha, Qatar)

In 2009 Studio Matteo Nunziati, leading firm in the international hospitality panorama, was approached by a Qatar family to build a 5 star luxury hotel in one of the most prestigious areas of the Gulf. Overlooking the waterfront promenade, arose with majestic linearity and stylistic Arabic décor Fraser Suites, a prominent residence tower of 50 floors in West Bay, Doha.
The interior design project was challenging, embracing all areas and 388 apartments. Nunziati reaches a result that exalts the Italian reputation of excellence.
The balance between aesthetic formal achievements and economic aspects fully satisfies the client.
In the accomplishment of this successful intervention, the collaboration with prestigious partners plays a key role, not only for the high quality standards offered but also for the precious assistance provided. Traditional Arabic elements interpreted with distinctive Italian taste lead to a contemporary, sophisticated final ambience: an artful, harmonious blend of Eastern inspirations and Italian design.
The generous sized serviced apartments, all with kitchen corner, are intended to accommodate for long-term stay exigent customers, used to travel around the world. Along with Molteni [furniture], FontanaArte [lighting], Teuco [bathroom fixtures] and others, Fiandre has been the competent supplier, ideal partner who has made possible to shape the architect’s creativity, enhancing the appeal of the imprint of Fraser Suites. Fiandre has supplied a gorgeous, refined range of ceramic ware for distinctive signature areas of the building.

The porcelain tiles of Travertino Maximum emphasize with the charming nuances of the marble veins the warm elegance of the lobby, evoking soft shades of the desert sand and offering to guests a relaxing, cozy atmosphere.
Calacatta Maximum, flanked by Middle Eastern ornamental motifs, contributes to the bright lightness and sumptuous elegance of the restaurants, while Gold Onyx Maximum is the remarkable note of exclusivity of the lounge at the 32 floor. Glossy surfaces and elegant details increase the value of the environment.
The porcelain slabs, all belonging to the collection Marmi Maximum, propose the exceptional innovative 300x150 cm format, an astonishing size that offers an extraordinary impact in the extensive display, reducing the breaks in the design unit.
In addition to this, they introduce a minimum thickness of 6mm. The "super-size", the impressive lightness and high resistance, plus the exquisite surface's refinement are remarkable features that make this product comparable with the most rare marbles.

The styling functionality offered by low maintenance, great lightness, with logistical advantage for transportation, installation, possible even over existing surfaces, and durability is a distinctive element that, combined with the superb texture, makes the product ideal for high-end, commercial activities.

Prestigious aesthetics and high performance are two essential achievements that embody Fiandre’s philosophy. They are emblematic expressions not only of competence and continuous research but of the company’s global vision: to reach with passion and skillful dedication a product more and more versatile, which might be an effective, concrete tool able to translate architects and designers’ ideas.
It has been precisely this important synergy, all the efforts are implanted towards, to allow to achieve an outstanding execution. The challenging flexibility and quality of Marmi Maximum collection supported by Fiandre’s valuable, continuous assistance throughout the project, from the commercial negotiation to the final execution of the work, once again has led to export a know-how of creativity and productivity that well identifies the quality of the "made in Italy".
