IUAV University of Venice’s Department of Architecture, Construction and Conservation is holding a seminar on 9 December 2013 under the title "Moscow and quality in architecture".
The seminar, coordinated by Aldo Norsa, professor of Architecture Technology at Iuav University in Venice, and organised as part of the Master’s Programme in Construction / Dacc, will be held in the Tafuri Hall in Palazzo Badoer, San Polo 2468, Venice, from 15:00 to 18:30.

Fiandre has always been closely involved in the world of architecture and design, and as the company is about to open a showroom in Moscow, Fiandre was happy to accept the proposal of acting as event partner at the seminar: an opportunity to find out more about Moscow and everything that makes it so interesting for old Europe.
In the past few years the city of Moscow has seen much ferment and a great desire for change and innovation, rediscovering the past but also breaking with it, ushering in a breath of fresh air and encouraging action.

The programme for the event is as follows:
Introductions will be made by Amerigo Restucci, Chancellor of Iuav University in Venice
Speaker Evgeniya Murinets, deputy head of the Department of Architecture’s Architecture Council Administration of Moscow Committee, with the participation of Alessandro De Magistris, professor at Politecnico di Milano;
Paolo Desideri, architect, professor at Roma Tre University; Nicola Di Battista, editor of Domus magazine;
Elisabetta Fabbri, architect, expert in conservation and cultural heritage conservation; Irina Korobina, curator of Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow; Sergei Tchoban, architect/urban planner, founder of Speech architecture office; Umberto Zanetti, engineer and founder of ZDA Zanetti Design Architettura.
