USB - Use Sustainable Brains

The project consists in an indoors/outdoors reception structure which can be located anywhere and used by anyone. The project will be implemented using eco-sustainable architecture and is intended to transmit a message of "sustainable sociality": it is effectively a Social Connection. The design reflects the form of a USB key, but with the addition of a different meaning: USB = USE SUSTAINABLE BRAINS.
The aim of the project is to restore communications between people, an important theme for the qualified Ecobuild platform, the context in which it will be presented for the first time.
The structure has an internal space with a conviviality zone. The space could be managed by an association or private company (as a self service cafeteria, for instance). Once the meals have been cooked, they are consumed in a natural wood area with a bench which again recalls the shape of a USB key, with service tables and a system of roof-mounted sun shades and vertical awnings. The structure continues into a public space with three wooden tubs with ceiling mounted showers, plus a shared massage/relaxation area. This is followed by the indoors/outdoors area with three comfortable seats, with tables bearing fruits and a central fireplace to recall the old household fireplaces at which people met to converse and relax.
All this is surrounded by green areas which enter and exit the structure and connect the outdoors conversation areas.
All powered by solar panels on the external back side of the structure.
