The eco-sustainable Info Point is a project which can be installed in any public square or high traffic area.
The structure is made of steel, and the base, in 3 pre-finished profiles, which assembles on location, is configured to mount the main uprights. A secondary set of uprights supports the Active Silver Ground raised flooring. The Info Point houses an information counter, also covered with Active, while the outer walls are covered with Taxos Extreme Active and Quarzite Ceniza Active in a curtain wall structure using concealed mounting equipment.
The covering alternates with led-illuminated plexiglas strips and a central glass panel housing lcd touchscreens of various sizes, which provide interactive information services 24/7: the user can consult the trained staff inside the unit or use the external screens. The Info Point is eco-sustainable, since it is designed to reduce power consumption: the roof houses a solar panel system which generates enough electricity to power the entire unit.
