Subject of the notice

On these web pages, our company makes use of technologies which use what are known as “cookies”, and this notice is intended to explain to users clearly and precisely how they are used. This document cancels and fully replaces any further information the company may have provided in the past regarding cookies, which must be considered entirely obsolete.

What are cookies?

Cookies are text strings (small files) sent by web sites that a user visits to the user’s device (pc, tablet, smartphone, etc.), where they are stored in memory in order to be sent back to the same web sites the next time the user visits them.

Types of cookies and their purposes

This web site uses the following types of cookies:

  1. Analysis cookies: anonymous, aggregate web analysis tools providing information on how users make use of web sites, how they got to them, the number and duration of their visits, etc. These cookies allow improvements to be made to the web site to facilitate access by users and preparation of statistics. These cookies are not necessary for optimal use of the web site and may therefore be deactivated.
  2. Profiling cookies: tools permitting creation of a detailed “profile” of an individual consumer with the purpose of sending targeted advertising. Every time the user visits the web site, information will be collected through the study of the user’s actions on the individual pages visited, habits, tastes, preferred products, etc. to allow our company to “catalogue” users and display to them or send them customised advertising. These cookies are not necessary for browsing the web site and may therefore be deactivated.
  3. Third-party cookies: these are cookies installed on the user’s device by third-party web site operators through this web site. Third-party cookies are primarily used for purposes of analysis and derive primarily from Google Analytics functions. More information on Google Analytics is available by clicking on the following link: http://www.google.it/intl/it/analytics.

To disable cookies and prevent Google Analytics from collecting your browsing data, you may download an additional browser component for deactivating Google Analytics from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Browser settings

We also wish to inform you that users can freely configure their own privacy parameters for the installation and use of cookies at any time directly through their web browser, following the instructions for their specific browser.

Users may choose private or “incognito” browsing, during which the browser will stop saving the chronology of web sites visited, passwords entered, cookies and all other information on the web pages visited.

Please note that if the user decides to deactivate all cookies (including technical cookies), the quality and rapidity of the services offered by this web site may become drastically worse, and the user may lose the ability to access certain sections of the web site.
