The times we are living in are forcing us to come up with new creative and original solutions to rethink the way we meet and enjoy cultural events together. Fiandre Architectural Surfaces, with its partners Laufen, Dallmer and Kreon, offer architects and professionals the opportunity to attend a pleasant outdoor event in absolute safety.

The first event of the drive-in cinema for architects will take place on Tuesday, May 26, at the airport hangar of Mülheim an der Ruhr, in Germany: a charmingly retro form of rediscovered entertainment, where seats and popcorn stands will be replaced by pre-assigned car park spaces to allow participants to enjoy the film from inside their vehicles, by tuning in and listening through their car radio.

The first evening will be dedicated to screening Das perfekte Geheimnis, Bora Dagtekin’s adaptation of the successful Italian film “Perfect Strangers”, directed by Paolo Genovese.

The drive-in cinema initiative is not just about entertainment and enjoying a good film, it is also an opportunity to show support for those who have been working on the front line throughout this emergency.

Participants at the event, offered by the partner companies, can contribute by making donations towards a good cause: providing FFP2 respirators to the Huyssensstift clinic in Essen. A way of supporting and thanking the people who dedicate their work to others, with altruism and great selflessness.
