Committed to promoting a design culture that pays attention to sustainability and innovation, Fiandre is proud to accompany the third leg of the exhibition season Patina, entitled “Wert-Stoff-Haus”, scheduled from 4 to 30 September 2025 at auau - Raum für Architektur in Hamburg.

The title “Wert-Stoff-Haus”, a play on words that recalls the German term Wertstoffhof, literally translated as “the house of valuable materials”, underlines how, even when they come from demolitions and waste, construction materials can be considered precious resources and returned to create new life cycles.

The exhibition tackles a very hot topic: the reuse of construction materials and their revaluation as resources that offer new design perspectives. In an era in which consumption and mass production have made disposability a common practice, Wert-Stoff-Haus invites us to rethink the future of architecture through recycling and circularity, turning demolition waste and residues into materials that generate value.

The exhibition includes contributions from architecture firms, initiatives and research centres working in the field of circular construction, with examples running from furniture to large-scale projects. The main consideration concerns the way in which materials, even those coming from demolitions and residues, can become elements to enhance, able to drive new aesthetic, economic and environmental design choices.

The vernissage will be held on 4 September at 19 hrs, with the participation of the firms and experts involved, who will present their research and visions.

With Wert-Stoff-Haus, Fiandre renews its support to auau and the Patina season, confirming its commitment to promoting international dialogue on topics of environmental responsibility, construction innovation and the value of materials.
