NEXT LANDMARK 2016: BERLIN HOSTS THE AWARDS CEREMONY

After Venice and Milan,” Next Landmark”, the international architecture and urban photography contest, promoted by the Floornature.com website, chooses Berlin and the exclusive location of the FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin for the prize-giving ceremony taking place on 16th November at 7.00 pm.

FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, an exhibition space of the Fiandre, Ariostea and Porcelaingres brands, which opened in the heart of the Kreuzberg district in June 2016, is set to host the awards gala for “ Next Landmark”,  the international contest, now in its 5th edition, that each year attracts entries by architects, engineers, landscape designers, photographers, town planners and designers from all around the world, seeking to offer innovative visions for contemporary living.

On 16th November at 7.00 pm, coinciding with the World Architecture Festival in Berlin, the prize-giving ceremony will take place, attended by several members of the international jury. It will announce the winners in each of the three competition categories - Landmark of the Year, Research, Photography - chosen based on clearly defined selection criteria, such as originality of the work, environmental sustainability and technical, aesthetic or conceptual innovation.

Next Landmark 2016, promoted and organised by the website Floornature.com in collaboration with IUSVE, this year has chosen the setting of FAB Berlin, a showroom that is the fruit of a sophisticated and ultra-modern design concept: intended as a space that promotes the culture of architectural planning and interior design while also operating as a showroom, FAB Berlin is today a new forum for international designers in the dynamic cultural setting of Berlin.

The awards ceremony will be accompanied by a multimedia installation that will make the most of the layout of the showroom: the Maximum Fiandre Extralite® large slabs installed in the showroom will become screens, used as a visual medium to display the works of the 10 finalists in each category, in an innovative presentation that will transform the location's reception and showroom areas into a veritable cinematographic backdrop.
