Fiandre kicks off 2020 with numerous initiatives by participating in the IMM Cologne 2020 event.
A leading event in Europe in the interior and furniture design industry, IMM offers designers and international stakeholders an overview of the main trends and innovations in the industry.
Fiandre will be there with the brands of the Iris Ceramica Group holding company to launch a new project dedicated to bathrooms: porcelain stoneware shower trays, washbasins and vanity tops, expertly shaped and ready to be ordered and installed. This system, designed to reduce waiting times for orders and on-site installation, is ideal for the hotel, hospitality and wellness industries, as well as for the luxury residential sector.

At IMM, Fiandre will be showcasing flawless wall, floor and furniture solutions: upon entering the stand, White Beauty by Marmi Maximum stands out for its dramatic effect. Once again, Marmi Maximum is the star when it comes to showers, with a superb Pietra Grey total look for the seat, shower tray and wall tiles, the latter customized with a jungle-chic decoration created using Design Your Slabs technology and made eco-active with the Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ treatment.
The new exhibits at IMM express the beauty, wholesomeness and functionality of the new Fiandre solutions, which are designed to meet the needs of designers who increasingly focus on finding innovative and sustainable materials.

On the occasion of IMM, Iris Ceramica Group will be involved in the project of architect and interior designer Yasmine Mahmoudieh, CEO of a technological startup operating in the field of child education: myKidsy.
For this startup, IMM will create a dedicated space called MyKidsy Playground, designed by Mahmoudieh herself to present the innovative concept of a place dedicated to creativity, education and play for children and teenagers, which can be used to replicate projects for the hotel and hospitality industries in general.
The use of modular furniture, which can be made with innovative, recycled and natural materials, reflects the project’s focus on sustainability.
MyKidsy Playground is not only an educational concept but also encourages younger audiences who will experience the project to approach and reflect on the role of design in everyday life. In this context, Iris Ceramica Group produces flooring with an Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ treatment surface of approximately 135 m2 in the 150x300 cm format. Active’s anti-bacterial, anti-pollutant, anti-odour and self-cleaning properties are recommended in a setting where children and teenagers spend lots of time engaging in leisure, play and educational activities.
The ability to produce actual benefits marks an evolution in Iris Ceramica Group’s surfaces, which are the result of years of commitment and sensitivity to sustainability issues.
